This policy explains what happens when you visit majipreneursalliance.org. It applies to visitors of the public site only. Content editing by Alliance staff is handled under separate internal arrangements and is not described here.
Who is responsible
The Majipreneurs Alliance is responsible for this website. Contact details for privacy enquiries appear on our legal notice.
What we collect
When you browse the site
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data needed to deliver the site securely. This typically includes your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. We do not currently use Cloudflare Web Analytics. If we enable it later, we will update this policy before doing so.
We load Baloo 2 and Quicksand web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, Google may receive your IP address and basic technical data. We plan to self-host fonts in a future update to reduce third-party requests.
When you download resources
If you download a PDF or other file, our host may log that the file was requested (time, file name, IP address). We do not ask for your name or email to download public resources.
When you email us
If you use a mailto: link or write to an Alliance address (for example info@majipreneursalliance.org), your email is handled by our mail provider, not by this website. What you send is governed by normal email practice and any provider terms.
We do not run contact forms, newsletters, member logins, or comment features on the public site at launch.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set non-essential cookies for visitors. We do not currently run web analytics on this website.
If we later add tools that use cookies (for example Google Analytics or embedded social feeds), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before non-essential cookies are set.
Why we use this data
- Operate and secure the website
- Understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, general location at country level)
- Respond to enquiries sent by email
- Maintain and improve accessibility and performance
We do not sell visitor data.
Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
Where applicable law requires a legal basis:
- Legitimate interests: running a secure, accessible public information site and understanding aggregate use
- Consent: only if we later introduce optional non-essential cookies or similar tools
How long we keep data
- Server and analytics logs: retained by Cloudflare according to their policies (typically a limited rolling period)
- Email: retained according to Alliance records management and the mail provider’s settings
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data, or to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on the legal notice. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
International transfers
Cloudflare and Google may process data in countries outside your own. They provide safeguards as described in their published terms and privacy documentation.
Children
This site is intended for professionals and the general public interested in WASH enterprise support. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the website.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site, hosting, or analytics changes. The last reviewed date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
